A Hebrew word meaning “dwelling place” and is used to describe the presence of God living among His people. It reflects God’s nearness, care, and desire to dwell with us, not apart from us.
Shekinah matters to us because it points to God’s nearness and our desire to create a place where girls feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.

CAMP SHEKINAH
Camp Shekinah is a Christian summer day camp for elementary-aged girls, with volunteer opportunities for older girls and moms. Each day is centered on Scripture, fellowship, and creativity. Camp begins with a morning gathering for worship and time in God’s Word, with daily Scripture woven throughout small-group activities like crafts and outdoor play. Each afternoon, campers gather for a shared all-camp experience that brings the day together through joy, reflection, and community. Our hope is that girls leave camp feeling confident in God’s presence in every part of their lives.
